Here is a nice photo of a Florido neighborhood. That thing down the center of the photo that looks like a cement ditch is actually an open sewer. And this is one of the better looking ones. We'd seen some with dead dogs and old rusted out cars in them.
This is the strip mall we frequented for public showers because the MCM dorms didn't have showers for us. Most of our group is here.
Here is a photo of some Mexicans with their new house. Notice their fence made of tires.

Here is a photo of people from our group #2 riding in the hot old ambulance the mission had. Fortunately my group never had to ride in the ambulance. The last work day, we borrowed another group's rental van (There were other mission groups besides us there). It was nice and air conditioned.

This is a photo of us after the bus overheated in the desert of New Mexico. I know this has nothing to do with life in Mexico, but it was part of the overall experience. The bus overheated several times on the trip.
